Asmita Verma

Asmita Verma is an assistant professor of economics at the Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam India. She has a PhD in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India and has also worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre for Society and Policy, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Her research interests include health economics, public health, digital health, demography, development economics, econometrics, applied microeconomics, data economics and digital economy. Her recent research involves understanding healthcare service delivery in India and its implications for maternal and child health, and demographic outcomes in the country.
