Economic Geographer here! As a researcher, I try to grasp why some parts of the world are rich, others poor, and what can be done about it. Specifically I am using quantitative methods to understand the evolution of regional economies. As I place a strong emphasis on the societal impact of my research, I aim to work with policymakers and institutions to solve real-world problems.
