Call for participants – Intensive Course on Agent Based Modelling in Social Sciences (UNU-MERIT)

Dear CEWG Members,

Understanding complex social and economic systems calls for methods that can capture dynamic interactions and emergent behaviour. Agent-Based Models (ABMs) offer a flexible approach to explore these dynamics and generate findings for research and policy.

This five-day intensive course provides a rigorous introduction to ABMs in the social sciences. Participants will learn to design, implement and analyse models using LSD and R, with additional work in Python (Mesa) and NetLogo.
