Description
YSI South Asia Working Group is collaborating with The Centre for Public Policy at IIM Bangalore for a pre-conference workshop and poster session at the 19th International Conference on Public Policy & Management. The conference is an annual event organized by The Centre for Public Policy at IIM Bangalore.
This year, the South Asia working group at YSI is organizing a pre-conference workshop on 26th August 2024, which would be followed by IIM Bangalore’s 19th International Conference on Public Policy & Management from 27-29th August 2024. Additionally, we are also organizing a poster presentation during the conference. The purpose of the event is to assist the young researchers to not only gain access to presenting and receiving constructive feedback towards improving their research, but to also establish connections and network with peers working in similar areas.
About Pre-Conference Workshop: A pre-conference workshop on “Research using Spatial Data” is scheduled on 26th August 2024, 15:00-16:30 . Registration for pre-conference workshop can be done here: ysiproject.org/shah . Registration is free, but seats are limited.
About Poster Presentation:
Doctoral scholars in registered Indian Universities are invited to submit an extended abstract for poster presentation session at the 19th International Conference on Public Policy & Management at IIM Bangalore.
The abstract should be related to the following themes: Emerging Technologies and Policy Implications, Policies on Climate Change and Sustainability in Industry and Agriculture, Policy Challenges in Gig and Platform Economy, Innovations in Public Policy. Submissions not falling within these themes, but otherwise related to public policy topics are also welcome. The abstract must be in English and should be between 1000-1500 words. In case of co-authored work, only the presenting author would be admitted to the conference.
Eligibility: Registered doctoral students in Indian Universities. Selected candidates may be required to send a scanned copy of their bona-fide certificate.
Financial Support: A limited number of scholars will be provided accommodation and travel stipend equivalent to II tier AC train. Economy airfare to be provided if the distance is more than 500kms. Tickets and boarding passes (in case of flight tickets) should be shared with us for reimbursement.
Certificate of presentation will be provided to all poster presenters.
