Description
Young researchers encounter complex ethical conundrums that call into question conventional ideas of scientific integrity in the quickly evolving scientific environment of today. The purpose of this gathering is to discuss the relationship between science and ethics, with an emphasis on how young researchers might deal with these challenges. This meeting will encourage discussion among up-and-coming scientists about the moral implications of their work. In order to help participants comprehend the significance of incorporating ethical frameworks into their research methodology, we will examine the ways in which subjective ethical considerations coexist with objective scientific practices. We will discuss important ethical issues, such as whether it is appropriate to alter human genomes. What moral ramifications result from breeding hybrids? What does responsible AI mean? Diverse viewpoints that represent social, cultural, and professional backgrounds are necessary to address these concerns. The need for a diverse approach to ethical decision-making in science is highlighted by the realization that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. We suggest creating a comprehensive ethical framework with rules specifically designed for novice researchers. This framework will be developed through cooperative talks between governmental and academic organizations, ultimately guiding aspiring researchers toward superior, morally sound research methods. In order to foster collaboration and information exchange among the researchers, the meeting will include interactive workshops on case studies, a roundtable discussion, and a presentation by Dr. Radha Upadhyaya of the Institute of Development, University of Nairobi, on ethical government. We want to raise a generation that places morality at the forefront of scientific discovery.
