Description
The Keynesian Economics Working Group and the Economics of Innovation Working Group are happy to announce the YSI @DRUID pre-conference Workshop. It is a unique opportunity for young scholars from around the world to network within the cross-disciplinary “innovation community” and present to established scholars.
DRUID is one of the biggest and most relevant international conferences on economics and management of innovation and dynamics of change. Its cross-disciplinarity in terms of topics and methods make it an excellent place for young scholars to learn and network. Whether your work concerns technology management, international business, entrepreneurship, human resources, corporate governance, economic geography, organizational behavior or industrial policy – this is for you.
Objective
This pre-conference provides a safe space to young scholars to present, exchange and comment on their research and ideas. As it is easy to get lost and spread out at large conferences, this is intended to give selected young scholars the opportunity to network and receive the undivided attention of experienced researchers.
Workshop Agenda
This year, DRUID 2025 takes place in Toronto, at Rotman School of Management of Toronto University. Our workshop is on the 24th June 2025, the day before the conference starts. The programme consists of two in-depth sessions dedicated to six PhD student presentations, followed by a discussion from a senior scholar and a fellow young scholar.
