Announcements: PKES Summer School, YSI Early Career Day, and ECOECO 2025

Dear EDWG members,

I hope this email finds you well. I would like to share three important announcements that may be of interest to our network:

  1. Post-Keynesian Economics Society (PKES) Summer School 2025.
The PKES Summer School will take place from June 22 to June 25, 2025, at the University of Greenwich, London. Dr. Ben Tippet (King’s College London) has asked if you could help promote the call for participants within your YSI working groups. This is a great opportunity for young scholars interested in Post-Keynesian economics and heterodox approaches to economic thought. Registration is open and places are available, with and without accommodation, prices start at £40. There is a limited number of spaces which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. More information can be found on the PKES website.
  2. YSI Early Career Day – BIEN Congress 2025
The deadline for submissions to the YSI Early Career Day at the BIEN Congress has been extended to March 20, 2025, in line with the main congress extension. More details can be found here: https://ysi.ineteconomics.org/event/ysi-pre-conference-day-or-early-career-day-24-bien-congress/2025-08-25/. For those who have already submitted, please note that the results will be communicated later than originally planned.
  3. XVI Encontro Nacional da Sociedade Brasileira de Economia Ecológica (ECOECO 2025)
The XVI Encontro Nacional da Sociedade Brasileira de Economia Ecológica (ECOECO 2025) will take place from September 8 to September 12, 2025, in Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre, Brazil. The call for papers is open until April 11, 2025. More information can be found here: https://www.ecoeco2025.sinteseeventos.com.br/apresentacao.

Please feel free to share these announcements with your networks. Looking forward to your participation and engagement.

Best regards,
