Deadline Extension: Building the Future: Navigating Real Estate Cycles and Green New Deal Strategies

I am writing to share information about the deadline extension to receive proposals to participate in the workshop “Building the Future: Navigating Real Estate Cycles and Green New Deal Strategies” (Originally February 20 and now March 16).
We are pleased to invite Master’s and PhD students, as well as early career researchers (within 5 years of obtaining your PhD), to our upcoming workshop: “Building the Future: Navigating Real Estate Cycles and Green New Deal Strategies.” This two-day event, held as a side event to the SIEV 2025 Conference in Naples, Italy, brings together senior experts and emerging talent to explore:
  • Real estate prices and fluctuations, relationship between macroeconomics and real estate, financial stability, real estate indexes, housing affordability, appraisal approaches, and land value taxation
  • Climate change, Green New Deal, green land value tax, adaptation strategies, urban planning and sustainable housing solutions
  • Real estate development in the face of crisis, remote working, suburbanization, migration, housing crisis, etc.

Application Process:
Step 1: Submit an extended abstract (500-1000 words) by March 16, 2025.
Step 2: If selected, submit a full working paper by May 9, 2025 to confirm your participation.

This workshop is a unique platform to gain mentorship, share your innovative research, and contribute to shaping future urban and regional economic policies.
