Last days to apply: YSI Workshop at the G20 Social: Sustainable Development in Brazil’s G20 Presidency

The inequality and development groups invite you to join us a the YSI workshop at the G20 Social. This workshop will delve into the intersection of justice and sustainability within the context of Brazil’s G20 Presidency. Exploring Brazil’s role on the global stage, the event will examine the challenges for fostering sustainable development. Through interdisciplinary perspectives, participants will analyse current initiatives and propose strategies to advance justice and sustainability during Brazil’s leadership of the G20.

You can apply to the workshop with this through our event website by the 14th of July. You will be asked to submit your CV and a 1.000 words essay on ‘How can young scholars contribute to sustainable development both in Brazil’s G20 Presidency and in your specific research/policy context?”. You will also be asked to upload a video and add the link to it. Any questions on the applications should be directed to development@youngscholarsinitiative.org. Selected participants will be offered credentials to the G20 Social, accommodation and travel stipends to attend the workshop and will be notified as soon as possible and by September maximum.
