History of science webinar series

The YSI history of economics working group will start a webinar series where we will read and discuss key texts in the history of science literature of the past couple of decades. Our goal is to engage with this literature as a valuable source of inspiration for historians of economics.

The theme of this first meeting will be historical epistemology. Discussion will be based on the following references: Feest, Uljana, Thomas Sturm. 2011. "What (good) is historical epistemology." Science in context 16 (1-2), 1-8. At the end of the meeting we will discuss the schedule of the next 4-5 meetings, where we will discuss Daston and Galison's Objectivity (2007).Learn more
