November Community Call | Ft. Maria Cecilia del Barrio Arleo

YSI Community Call Whether you're brand new to the community, or a long-time YSI'er, the monthly community call is a chance to (re)connect with other members, and let yourself be inspired by your peers. This Month's Alumni Highlight: Maria Cecilia del Barrio Arleo Cecilia obtained her PhD from the School of International Studies at the University of Trento in 2020. Her dissertation focuses on the transformation of banking supervision and supervisory practices in the Eurozone since the establishment of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM). Her research lies at the interface of banking and financial regulation and social sciences, and she is currently focusing on financial technology topics including CBDCs. Cecilia works at the European Central Bank, where she serves as a banking supervisor at the SSM and is also a member of the European Banking Institute’s Associate Researchers Group (EBI ARG). YSI Community Call Whether you're brand new to the community or a long time YSI'er, the monthly community call is a chance to (re)connect with other members, and let yourself be inspired by your peers. *This month's alumni highlight: Aleksandar Stojanović *Aleksandar Stojanović is Assistant Professor of Practice in Economics at New York University Shanghai. He holds doctoral degrees in economics (Collegio Carlo Alberto) and law (University of Ghent). His research combines law and political economy, monetary economics and finance.
