Assistant Professor of development and of feminist economics at the Institute of Economics of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IE/UFRJ) since 12/2014. Coordinator of the research group on economics and feminism (“Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas de Economia e Feminismos - NuEFem”), IE/UFRJ, since 2020. Postgraduate Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad General San Martín, Buenos Aires, Argentina (2011-2014). Postdoctoral Researcher and Professor of Economics at the Pavia University, Italy (2009-2010). PhD in Political Economy - Sapienza University of Rome, Italia (2009) and Graduated in Economics - Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina (2003). Research Areas of interest: Feminist Economics, Development and Regional Integration and Geopolitics in Latin America.
About my research
My research agenda focuses on feminist economics and decolonial feminism. My last works are on sustainability, climate change and gender (Gender dimension in the Big Push for Sustainability in Brazil: women in the context of the social and ecological transformation of the Brazilian economy, published in portuguese 02/2021), on the situation of Brasilian women during Covid-19 (“¿Estamos en el mismo barco? Una lectura feminista sobre los efectos del COVID-19”. Le Grand Continent. 03/2021) and on the multiple segregations that women suffer in the Brasilian labor market (Mulheres no mercado de trabalho brasileiro: uma análise das segregações e discriminações a partir da economia feminista, 06/2021)
