About
Diana Figueroa is a master student in Political Sciences at the Free University Berlin. Since 2021, she has been working as a research assistant for PRODIGY, a BMBF/FONA BIOTIP project examining system-relevant tipping points in the Western Amazon Basin. Within this project, her focus has been on understanding the impact of climate change on the livelihoods of rural women in the Amazon region.
About my research
Diana is currently exploring how gendered care practices contribute to maintaining sustainable agroforestry systems and food sovereignty in the face of rapid environmental and land use transformations on border regions.
