About

She completed her Bachelor’s in Economics from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, and Post Graduation in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University at Centre for Economic Studies and Planning (CESP). At present she is pursuing her PhD in Development Studies from Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) at Centre for Political Institutions, Governance and Development in Bengaluru, India. Her experiences in the policy research domain includes being a Co-Lead at Rethinking Economics India for Diversity Project. Before this she has also worked with the team for policy research under ‘United Nations Economic Commission for Latin American and Caribbean’ (ECLAC) where she contributed to policy-oriented study on Capital Flow Regulations in the Asia-Pacific/Africa in the context of the Covid-19 crisis. Apart from this, she was also a part of the policy research team for Urban Unorganized Sector for INDIA – Co – Win Action Network.

About my research

Adivasi Women and their political perspective, their understanding of the role of local democracy and acknowledging their human rights in the form of political rights and access to the government structure. And also the role of advocacy and government to empower the Adivasi women.
