Currently, I am a researcher working in the public health sector in India. I have worked on issues of rural and urban poverty in the past that gave me an opportunity to work with tribal and rural women; and the homeless community to initiate the provision of a social safety net. Over time in the development sector I have developed an interest in understanding labour issues with respect to occupational health. I am also trying to understand the "accepted" way of presenting solutions to social issues.
