I am a postdoctoral research fellow with the International Studies Group at the University of the Free State. I focus on research that incorporates socio-economic and political lenses in understanding historical issues.
About my research
Currently, I am working on multimorbidities during the First World War. The current interest in multimorbidities and integrated health approaches paint the image of new health conditions. But my research shows that these concerns are not new. If governments invested in research, they would know that multimorbidities occurred during the war. They would then build on the knowledge gained from that period to craft solutions now.
