In the Philosophy of Economics working group we ask fundamental questions in order to understand the roles as economists and economics in a bigger societal picture. What is the relationship between theories, models and social reality? What should it be? How should economics relate to other scientific disciplines as sociology and psychology? What is “the economy”? What is economics?
