Description

Guys,

We would like to invite you all to contribute to the document for this year’s mandate for the CEWG. We will hold a meeting to gather all the ideas on next Friday 2nd April at 16:30 CET.

We want you to think about what would be interesting for you to work on in our working group this year, specially virtual projects.

The mandates will outline the following for each working group:

  1. Key questions / themes
  2. Projects and projects ideas (including special projects)
  3. Partnerships and important organizations (with organizations and journals)

What are mandates? We draft our annual mandates in order to have a discussion on our academic priorities and strategies for the upcoming year. This serves an important governance function because it aligns the coordinators and organizers in each group, it creates transparency for your working group members and it facilitates the development of cross-working group collaborations.

In the development of questions and themes, we can draw on the 100 questions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgSGC3ne1Cc) that arose in the Questions Fair as well as your State of the Field Reports (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gJX9yGid0EtH6RGC_OZKfstODtyskhWA/view ). You can also take a look at last year’s mandates here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h0unx-GnlLdOi8zVyY9goRE2iRChqNsl/view ), but as you can imagine this year’s focus will have to be on virtual projects. You can find the policy for in-person projects here (https://ysi.ineteconomics.org/covid-policy ).

Yours,
Complexity Working Group
