The Africa Working Group explores the economic challenges on the continent. How will Africa overcome its legacy, strengthen its institutions and advance towards an equitable, and sustainable future?

  • African Constitutional Law Conference (last time in Namibia)
  • Financial Stability (collaboration on comparative central banking & currency systems) & Finance Law & Econ WGs (Financial market infrastructure & ….) – work with them to broaden the discussion within Africa
  • Financial market infrastructures & central counterparting (few firms & inadequate manpower in Africa) – to improve transactions
  • East African hub meeting (main hub meeting in Sept)
  • African political economy working group of Africans in North America (looking to collaborate with CEA & other big.  conference organizers) – May/June
