Description
Argentina is in the middle of a debt restructuring negotiation with creditors. Among the latter one can count the biggest asset managers in the world, such as Fidelity, BlackRock and others. Argentina has made a proposal with limited capital haircut, lower interest payments and three holiday years. So far, most of international creditors have rejected it. What are the perspectives and the implications of this negotiation for the future? Is an agreement within reach? Can this episode be the blueprint for other countries? Pablo Bortz, from IDAES-National University of San Martín, will give us a talk on this subject. Join us!
