Description

Abstract
Public policies are all around us. They influence our choices, behaviours, and incomes. More so in the Indian context due to the Indian State’s wide-ranging ambitions. Despite its pervasiveness, public policy is often perceived as being inaccessible, boring or both. MIA aims to change this perception with this book through vignettes that illustrate India’s tryst with public policymaking. The objective is to help a non-specialist audience understand Indian governance better through examples rooted in India. This talk will share some foundational ideas from the book.
