We cordially invite you to Kristian Blickle's presentation of his working paper "Pandemics Change Cities: Municipal Spending and Voter Extremism in Germany, 1918-1933", which will take place on Monday, 20 July at 4 p.m. (CET). What are the long-term societal changes brought about by a pandemic? Why might austerity and extremist voting follow a pandemic like the corona-crisis? The webinar will start with a fifteen-minute input by Kristian Blickle from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, followed by a discussion of around 45 minutes.

The webinar is hosted in collaboration with Forum New Economy.
