Description
In 2023, the CONAPRES research group (Constitucionalismo e Aprendizagem Social) is working in partnership with the Compared Political Economy studies group from Cedeplar (UFMG) to hold the III National Meeting of CONAPRES with the theme "The State and The Economy: Current Challenges".
The event will take place in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil, from October 4th to October 6th. There will be panels with senior professors and researchers. Some of the themes of the panels are:
- The State, economic development and democracy
- Sustainability and infrastructure
- Law, economy and planning
- Tax and justice
We will also have sessions for young scholars to present and receive feedback on their work and one morning of workshops.
Young scholars can send extended abstracts in English or Portuguese (4/5 pages, not including the bibliography) to [email protected] by September 10th. Abstracts must make clear the research question, the theoretical framework and the arguments.
