YSI Session @ 9th Latin American Energy Economics Meeting (ELAEE)

The YSI Sustainability WG will host a workshop at the 9th Latin American Energy Economics Meeting (ELAEE) that will take place in Rio de Janeiro, July 28 – 30, 2024. 

ELAEE is a biannual conference hosted by the Latin American Association for Energy Economics (ALADEE), the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), and, this year, the Brazilian Association of Energy Economics (AB3E).

ELAEE is intended to receive academy and energy industry, discuss the state of the art in the field of energy economics, and interact with the international community in a favorable environment for networking and knowledge exchange through round tables, plenary sessions, and field visits.

YSI workshop: The YSI session will invite ELAEE’s participants (young and senior scholars) to discuss ‘Energy & Sustainability’.

Call for Papers: Submit an abstract (2 pages) briefly describing the research or case study through the conference website before March 10th, 2024. Link: https://doity.com.br/9elaee/artigos

Participants who receive the ELAEE’s notification of acceptance will be informed how to apply for YSI support.

• YSI support covers: accommodation and support for travel and local expenses. Registration fees will covered by ELAEE.
• Selection criteria will be based on diversity, necessity and creativity and will target participants from the Latin America region.
