Demand-led Growth: Structural Change and Income Distribution – Brazil

The Latin America, Keynesian Economics and Economic Development Working Groups are please to invite you to the Second International Workshop on Demand-led Growth: Structural Change and Income Distribution, which will be placed at Arena Hotel in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on July 17 and 18.

The Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET/YSI) is supporting special Young Scholars sessions that will happen at UFRJ's Institute of Economics (Praia Vermelha Campus) in the days before the main Workshop. Young Scholars (YS) with selected papers who are non-resident in Rio de Janeiro may apply for financial support by choosing the appropriate option in the Submission Form. Applicants should write a brief letter of motivation (no more than 300 words) including a description of the candidate's research area/project and their stimulus to attend the Workshop. Letters must be written in English.

The following keynote speakers are attending the event: Aldo Barba, Annamaria Simonazzi, Carlos Aguiar de Medeiros, Daniele Girardi, Enrico Bellino, Ignacio Perrotini, Mark Setterfield, and Steven Fazzari.
