Dear coordinators,
just a short note to check if there is an interest and some competence on migration research in any of the working groups.
I met on a conference here in Reykjavik yesterday, Erik Berglöv professor and Director of the Institute of Global Affairs at London School of Economics and he is organizing a conference in Beirut on November 6th-7th, 2017 on the issue of migration and there might be a possibility of setting up a small YSI thing related to it if Management approves and if we can act fast, but the time frame is narrow.
This is a great opportunity if people already doing migration research or studies can act quickly. I am not sure in what working groups these people would be so therefore I send it to you all. The role of universities in relation to migration is important as well.
