Non-Financial Corporate Debt in Emerging Markets

In its next meeting, the Financial Stability Group will start the discussion of the subject “private debt”. We will have the presentation of Cristiano Boaventura Duarte (PhD Student – Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), entitled "Non-Financial Corporate Debt in Emerging Markets after 2008". He will explore non-financial corporate debt expansion in emerging countries after the 2008 crisis, its relation to the deepening financial fragility of companies located in those countries, and the financial fragility of those nations themselves.
