Our working group is looking for two new group coordinators. Holly Stephens and me lay down our positions as coordinators due to new professional and / or personal endeavors!
Profile of the coordinator
young scholar (master, PhD or Postdoc) researching at the crossfield of cooperatives and / or cooperation of any discipline
interest in current developments in cooperative research from different perspectives and disciplines
taking leadership, motivating other people, a sense of community spirit and skilled or eager to learn about group coordination and building a community by the principle of "learning by doing"
being a self-reliant but also a good team player
having a spare time of 2-4 hours per week willing to invest
Tasks
You decide what you do to build up the group. Possible tasks may include:
proposing and supporting young scholars to organise a face-to-face meeting / workshop/ conference/ lecture series etc. with advice and support
organise yourself with a group the annual face-to-face meeting / workshop
organising a working group meeting at the annual YSI European meeting in Trento
organise and coordinate a webinar series
Group coordinators are voluntary position. The YSI managers (paid staff) Heske, Thomas and Jay support you in your work.
We hope to have a two coordinators with diverse background (female and male, from different continents).
