We are excited to invite you to join us for an YSI-IUC Webinar with Prof. Pier Guiseppe Monateri from the University of Turin.
In this webinar Prof Monateri will reflect on his book, "Dominus Mundi" and apply it to the (post) pandemic framework by reflecting on the COVID-19 pandemic and the reemergence of the state of exception, exploring changes to the concept of the sovereign. Furthermore, in light of the pandemic, the global hegemony of science/medical and technology and its sources of legitimacy will be analyzed.
The format of the webinar will entail a 40 minute presentation by Prof. Monateri followed by a 20 minute Q&A discussion with the audience.
