About
I am an early career researcher who has worked in the field of economic development and regeneration and managed major social and economic infrastructure programmes at the regional and national levels in the UK. I am currently the Director for Overseas Programmes for PSU, providing a range of advisory services on establishing international educational partnerships on higher education and professional development. I am also a Fellow for ForHumanity, an all-volunteer organization working for mitigating risks associated with autonomous systems, and Advisory Board Member for Global Equality and Inclusion Association.
About my research
I completed my PhD on “Possible Reflections of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) on Economic Policies – Examples from Continental Europe.” I mainly focused on the impact of the 4IR on innovation and industrial policy domains. Given my professional background, I also have also been actively working on local governance and urban development related issues, with particular reference to smart cities, local enterprise partnerships, urban economic zones, changing role of cities in global economic transformation and achievement of global sustainability objectives.
