Facing the Faultlines: Rethinking the Economy After Covid

This edition of the Axel Leijonhufvud Advanced School takes place online under the overall theme “Facing the Faultlines: Rethinking the Economy After Covid and the Ukraine Conflict”. Block 1 “Global Arrangements” took place from 7-11 September 2022, and Block 2 “Technology” is scheduled for 11-15 January 2023.
Block 1 dealt with geopolitical questions, and a blend of themes on energy security and green transition, public debt management and financial markets. For Block 2 we hope to explore socio-economic implications of technological change and ways to mitigate the climate crisis.

The school is a collobaration between the University of Trento and INET. With this school we honor the intellectual legacy of Axel Leijonhufvud who passed away in 2022.
