Description

WEBINAR REPLICATE REPLICATE: HOW YOU CAN TAKE PART
SESSION 13: Replications in agricultural economics

In September 2023, the Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy (Wiley) published a special issue featuring 11 replication articles in agricultural economics, co-edited by Robert Finger, Carola Grebitus and Arne Henningsen.

We are glad to announce that Robert Finger, also co-author of the introductory article of the special issue, will be with us. Here’s a snippet of the article’s departure point: “Replicability is a cornerstone of all scientific disciplines. While agricultural economists often provide recommendations to stakeholders that inform, among others policymaking, we currently lack replication papers published in leading agricultural economics journals.”

You can find the special issue HERE (most articles are open access).

Seven of the 11 replication have already been uploaded to ReplicationWiki.

This is a great opportunity to understand why is replication relevant and also to get in touch with different approaches to conduct a replication.
