- What are constraints to change in the capitalist order? What fundamental properties make the capitalist system persistent and capable of absorbing novelty?
- What is the role of economists in times of digital data?
- What is the role of economists as public intellectuals?
- What new roles could economists play?
- With the proliferation of academic journals and a stark increase in published articles, why is it important to replicate studies in economics and how?
- What are the effects of quantification, standardization and the increasing use of rankings in academia/economics?
- What are the implicit assumptions in Economics when it comes to designing and implementing “a just transition”? Are the concept and methodological approach robust enough to strike a balance between economic and social dimensions?
