INTRODUCTION
Liquidity Project Financial Market Infrastructure (LPFMI) is building a lasting community on issues around FMI since 2018. Thesis is, it matters how these structures are set for financial markets to do its job, namely helping economic development by allocating capital.

LPFMI OVERVIEW 2023

We are destined to interact with practitioners from both the public and private sector in 2023 to foster FMI research (see below for more information on LPFMI). Our rough timetable is to have

  1. An online one-day intro series on Fri. 21. Apr. (more information here)
  2. In person in Frankfurt, Europe
    2.1. LPFMI workshop Wed. 21. Jun. at Geothe University, House of Finance
    2.2. ECB-Bundesbank-Chicago Fed CCP risk management conference on Thu. 22. at the ECB Main Building
  3. In person in Chicago, USA for Chicago Fed conference Wed. 4. Oct. with TBD LPFMI engagement

A range of senior practitioners from the BIS (Iñaki Aldasoro) ECB (Martin Scheicher), Chicago Fed (Robert Steigerwald), ESMA (Klaus Löber and Froukelien Wendt) have already confirmed their attendance.
As we are starting to approach thinkers as we write this, we are aiming for this list is to grow. Check back in!
