The Latin America Working Group invites you to the webinar "De-dollarization and monetary policy in Bolivia: the role of inflationary memory" with Prof. Ernesto Sheriff. The webinar will take place on Friday, Dec 14th, 11:00 am EST.
A part of the webinar will consist on Sheriff's article (2011) "Memoria inflacionaria e histéresis en la econometrÃa de la demanda de dinero para el caso boliviano 1970 –2010"

Ernesto Sheriff is a Bolivian economist specialized in macroeconomics, finance and econometrics. Sheriff has a master's degree (1994) in Torcuato Di Tella (Arg) and PhD (2010) in Univalle (Bo). He has won several research awards between 1989 and 2016. Distinguished by the Bolivian Academy of Economic Sciences. Four times distinguished in the economic research contest of the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB). He has been an economic consultant for several national and international institutions such as UNDP, ECLAC, ect.
