Description

The Keynesian Economics Working Group is glad to announce a group meeting taking place at the Brazilian Keynesian Association conference (AKB). In this side event, professor Louis-Philippe Rochon (Laurentian University, Canada) will discuss with us what is the future of post-Keynesian economics. We will go through the history of post-Keynesian economics. Then, we will discuss what are the future perspectives in the field and what are the main research avenues. In addition to engaging in an insightful conversation between young scholars and our invited professor, participants will get a chance to discuss their own research questions and receive feedback from everyone. This activity will also help us to frame what are the key research questions for our working group.

This activity will take place as a side event on October 5th at 15h, during the Brazilian Keynesian Association conference at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, BH, Brazil, from October 5-7th, 2022. YSI will provide financial assistance to selected participants.

Interested participants can apply to the conference through this link: https://www.even3.com.br/akb2022/. The deadline is August 10th, 2022. More information with respect to application to the YSI stipend will be shared with the decision letters from AKB, after the selection process has taken place.

We hope to see you there!
