Description

“Who owns knowledge?”

YSI will be attending the third Turin International Festival of Economics hosted from 30 May – 2 June 2024. We will dedicate the mornings to a variety of young scholar sessions and have ample time to enjoy the Festival, which this year runs under the theme: “Who owns knowledge?”. The festival sessions will take place all over the centre of Turin. The Festival program will be available on the Festival website in due course.

What to expect?
We will be hosting YSI morning discussions on: paper drafts or abstracts; YSI project brainstorming sessions; and Early Career challenges. Thereafter, we will be attending the Festival sessions through-out the rest of the day.

The Festival itself is organized by Laterza and will host many sessions all over town. We will be roaming the centre of Turin to attend these sessions in smaller groups. We will come together for group dinners and activities in the evenings.

How to participate?
You can apply with a motivation, paper abstract, YSI project idea or a proposed contribution for our YSI Early Career Challenges panel. If you are accepted, you will be awarded a hotel room from 30 May – 2 June 2024. All participants will be responsible for their own travel to Turin.

Apply by 31 March 2024.
