Debt Crisis Resolution – Workshop @International Monetary Fund

The Young Scholars Initiative will partner with a range of policy institutions in Washington, D.C. to host thirteen workshops ahead of the INET Conference (14-15 April) and the IMF & World Bank Meetings (16-18 April).

The Finance, Law and Economics and the History of Economic Thought Working Groups are thrilled to present a joint workshop on the legal, economic and institutional tools employed by the IMF to address rising levels of private and public debt. Topics covered will include how sustainable levels of debt can be achieved without disrupting the real economy and how sustainable refinancing for the achievement of collective goals can be attained. The workshop will be held on 13 April.
