Dear Young Scholars,
After an open call to the community, lots of applications, and months of interviews, we are so honored to introduce to you our new YSI working group coordinators! Three for each working group, this global group of 63 peers is stepping in to serve our working groups for a two year term.
As coordinators, they will carry the overall responsibility in creating collaborative environments in our working groups. They’ll welcome you into their group if you’re new, and help you develop your project ideas and become engaged. If you want to get more involved with your group, they’re the persons to approach.
For the next few months, they’ll serve alongside our outgoing coordinators, who have poured countless hours, conversations, emails, and thoughts into YSI in the past years. Their service to the community will be celebrated at the YSI Plenary, after which this new group will be off on their own!
