This year we are commemorating the centenary of Celso Furtado who was one of the economists that belonged to the structuralist stream. His vast contribution is still an inspiration nowadays when reflecting upon Latin American structuralist problems. In light of this, the aim of this roundtable is to revisit his legacy to the structuralist stream and discuss neo-structuralism in order to highlight the current status of Latin American economic thinking.
