Description

“Merit, diversity and social justice”

INET and YSI will be participating in the first Turin International Festival of Economics hosted from 31 May – 4 June 2022. We will dedicate the mornings to a variety of YSI sessions at the International University College of Turin. We will, of course, have ample time to enjoy the Festival, which this year runs under the theme: “Merit, diversity and social justice”. The festival sessions will take place all over the center of Turin.

The Festival itself is organized by Laterza and will host many sessions all over town. We will be roaming the center of Turin to attend these sessions in smaller groups. We will come together for group dinners and activities in the evenings.

How to participate?
You can apply with a motivation, paper abstract, YSI project idea or a proposed contribution for our YSI Early Career Challenges panel. If you are accepted, you will be awarded a hotel room from 31 May – 4 June at Hotel Diplomatic. We are expecting around 40 total participants. All participants will be responsible for their own travel to Turin.

What about Covid?
We will adhere to the current regulation in place in Turin. This may include wearing masks indoors. We will require daily self-testing. Everyone attending must provide proof of vaccination (including booster and/or recovery).
